Mary Tarantino is the co-principal investigator and lighting designer for The Camouflage Project. She is deeply involved in research surrounding the historical characters, acts of sabotage, and the creation of camouflage, fakery and illusion during World War II. She is working comprehensively with her project collaborator in defining the overall architectural environment for the integrated performance and exhibition/installation, including display and production use of 3D artifacts used by historical characters in the war effort. Mary is a professional lighting designer for theatre with design credits in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Virginia, New York, Ohio, and Wisconsin, and collaborative master classes in the Czech Republic. She also works as an architectural lighting consultant and has contributed to commercial and residential projects in Vermont, Ohio, Washington, D.C., Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
