Francesca Spedalieri

Francesca Spedalieri is a second year MA student at The Ohio State University pursuing a degree in Theater History, Literature, and Criticism. Her research focuses on contemporary Italian theater as well as directing physical theater and multimedial theater. In 2010, she has received the William Case Kramer Fellowship that enabled her to work on an international project on the Italian theater of the 21st century. She is also involved with the partnership between The Builders Association, OSU and The Wexner Center for the Arts. Her master thesis will explore Traces of Modernity in Postmodern Italian Theater: Futurist and Pirandellian influences in the total theater of Alfio Petrini and Emma Dante. Francesca will serve as the Assistant Director for The Camouflage Project.
