Chelsea Phillips is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Theatre department at Ohio State. She holds an M.F.A. in Dramaturgy from the Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature in Performance program at Mary Baldwin College and the American Shakespeare Center. In her first year at Ohio State, she served as dramaturg on productions of Sidney Kingsley’s Men in White and Chekhov’s Three Sisters. She is also involved in the Ohio State University/Royal Shakespeare Company partnership and will be dramaturging Othello in the Winter Quarter. She has been involved in The Camouflage Project since a study abroad program in London this summer, where she helped to devise and stage a short piece inspired by oral histories, and training materials used by the Special Operations Executive during World War II. Since the summer, she has continued to work with The Camouflage Project team and will serve as production dramaturg in Spring Quarter.
